Pam Stover

Hello, my name is Pam Stover and my pronouns are she/her/hers.

I am a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with Maitri Mental Health, and a clinical assistant professor in the College of Nursing at Washington State University (WSU).  I have been working in mental health as a nurse for more than 40 years, and have been a psychiatric nurse practitioner for more than 20 of those years.  My BSN is from Pittsburg State University in Kansas; my master’s degree is from OHSU in Portland, and my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is from the University of Colorado.  I have a wealth of experience in a variety of mental health clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, private practice, integrated care, consultation & liaison services, day hospital, and psychiatric home health. I have also served in management roles for behavioral health services and as a faculty member teaching advanced nursing practice at WSU.

My work at Maitri Mental Health is very part-time due to my current full-time work as a faculty member in the College of Nursing at WSU. I enjoy working with the other staff and providers here at Maitri and providing care to our wonderful clients.  I love being able to bring care and empathy to those who are suffering from mental health challenges, and to be able to assist clients in getting the care they need within a trauma-informed care model.
