My name is Kimberley Karstedt and my pronouns are She/Her/Hers.
I worked in the financial industry for a little more than 11 years when life took a turn for me. I ended up going to college as a returning adult learner where I received two degrees in Business Technology. Once school was over I began a part time job in the Health & Physical Education department at Clark College. While I enjoyed my time at the college and stayed there for almost six years it was time for me to fill more of my time as my youngest son graduated from high school. I went to work at Columbia River Mental Health Services as a program assistant at the residential treatment facility (Elahan Place). I found my niche and moved up to a management position. I find working in the mental health industry very rewarding and continue to find joy working with this population of folks. I recently joined the Maitri team and I am absolutely loving the connection that I have with both providers and clients.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with my new granddaughter.
